Hello!

My name is Oriole.

I’m a mom, wife, secret agent wannabe, and a lover of video game lore and space.

Oriole was born and raised in a sleepy community just outside of Washington, D.C. 🌳 where she still lives with her husband and two kiddos.

Armed with a Bachelor of Science in Game Art and Design, she was driven to connect with the world through games and story. Oriole currently writes for a certain national space agency, and has over a decade of experience as a crime and intelligence analyst and public information specialist. With a background in illustration, eSports and community management, AAA game development, and level/quest design, this all lends to a hodge-podge arsenal of (sometimes useless) information.

Her love of romance, quantum mechanics, myth, Crusader Kings, and espionage fuel her dreams of becoming the next James Bond villain. Oriole enjoys spending her free time caring for her aging dogs, nature conservation efforts at local parks, running a bandit group in DayZ, fostering cats, and spending time playing Minecraft and Mario Kart with her tight-knit family.
